By accessing the “Quizlicious”, you give us your consent to collect, store, and use the information you provide (including any changes thereto as provided by you) for any of the services that we offer. “Quizlicious” (Our mobile application, currently on Android – Google Play), is owned and operated by CoolBoots Media Pvt Ltd (hereinafter referred as “Quizlicious”, “We”, “Our”, “Us”, “Company”, “App”). “Quizlicious” offers its end users interesting quizzes.   This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the services, as well as other information provided to us online or offline by End Users, Advertisers and other customers or users of our mobile application; however, it does not apply to information collected from our employees, contractors or vendors.

By accessing and/or using the “Quizlicious”, application, website or other services, you agree to this privacy policy and the Terms of Use of the “Quizlicious” app and give consent to the collection, transfer, operation, storage, disclosure and other uses of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. Do not access or use our services (“Quizlicious”) by any means or technology which conceals your actual geo-location or is unable to provide accurate details of the location (for example, use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to access “Quizlicious” Services).

As part of our efforts to provide you better access and control over the information which we collect and process about you, we require you to download and use the latest version of the “Quizlicious”. 

If you continue to use an older version of the App, we would not be responsible or liable for collection, storage and processing of your information. You are required to update to the most current version of the app.

Information we capture/ track /obtain: (This information is only captured from your device after you grant permission to “Quizlicious”)

We capture/ track information from your use of services. This information may be obtained from third parties in some cases. This information is used to provide best & customized service to each of our users, improve overall service delivery, devise new services, identify and reduce fraud or un-authorized use of our services and other purposes. All this information is captured after your explicit confirmation and permissions wherever required. Information tracked has been mentioned below to give details of the same.

1. Device and account information

We collect device-specific information (such as your hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information including phone number and account information on phone). How we use this information: We primarily use this information to detect fraud & unauthorized usage of “Quizlicious” services. Your device level information is also used in tracking your activity within “Quizlicious”.

When you use our services or view content provided by “Quizlicious”, we automatically collect and store certain information in server logs. This includes:

2. device event information such as crashes, system activity, hardware settings, the date and time of your request and referral URL.

3. Unique application numbers

Certain services include a unique application number. This number and information about your installation (for example, the operating system type, application version number, etc..) may be sent to “Quizlicious” when you install or uninstall that service. How we use this information
 Operating system type & version helps us in providing best experience of “Quizlicious” for your operating system along with customizing offers displayed to you. Information about Installing and uninstalling of other services helps us in keeping track of offers that are common between these and “Quizlicious” and thus giving you best experience and performance within the app.

We may collect and store information locally on your device using mechanisms such as application data, caches.

 This information is used to:
 (a) maintain your login session on “Quizlicious”.
 (b) this information may also be used from time-to- time to sync with “Quizlicious” servers and update services that we provide to you within the app on your next usage.

We use various technologies to collect and store information when you visit a “Quizlicious” service, and this may include using cookies or similar technologies (Device ID) to identify your browser or device. We also use these technologies to collect and store information when you interact with services we offer to our partners, such as advertising services or “Quizlicious” features that may appear on other sites or various SDKs we use for product Analytics that help us analyse the traffic. When you agree to our Privacy Policy, you provide us consent to share your device level information (mainly used for analytics and marketing purpose).  We provide information to our affiliates or other trusted businesses or persons to process it for us, based on our instructions and in compliance with Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

If you have filled out a user profile, we will provide an obvious way for you to access and change your profile from our Application/Services/ product. “Quizlicious” may occasionally use push notifications to send you app updates, information on services-related notifications that may be important to you. You may at any time opt out from receiving these types of communications by turning them off at the device level through your settings.

We may present links in a format that enables us to keep track of whether these links have been followed. We use this information to improve our customized content. Clicking on links may take you to sites outside our domain. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other web sites/services. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by our Application.

Data Subject Rights/Your Rights

1. Right to be Informed

You have the right to be informed for the collection of Personal Information except in some instances, for example, where the information is already contained in, or derived from, a public record, or has deliberately been made public by you, or where the collection of the information from another source would not prejudice your legitimate interest.

The information provided to you shall be in a reasonable manner and in a form that is generally understandable. “Quizlicious” may refuse access to records where the record contains legally privileged documents.

You have the right to request for Rectification of your personal information that “Quizlicious” possess.

Right to erasure

“Quizlicious” allows you the right to request to correct or delete your personal information that is inaccurate, irrelevant, and excessive, or which “Quizlicious” is no longer authorised to retain. You have the right to request that “Quizlicious” delete any or all of the personal information that “Quizlicious” collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Upon “Quizlicious” receipt and confirmation of a verifiable consumer request from you, “Quizlicious” will, unless an exception applies, delete (and direct any of our service providers having such information to delete) your personal information from “Quizlicious” records. Under certain conditions, “Quizlicious” may deny your deletion request for deletion if retaining the information is necessary for “Quizlicious” or our service provider(s) to:

• Protect the product/app and detect security incidents, including preventing fraudulent, deceptive, malicious, or illegal activity, or enforcing the law against those responsible for such actions.

• Comply with the applicable laws

• Adhere to any legal obligation

• Provide the service you have requested for, complete a purpose for which “Quizlicious” has obtained the personal information, to carry out any contract with you, do any other actions we may reasonably foresee in the course of our ongoing commercial relationship with you within the context of “Quizlicious”.

• Participate in peer-reviewed or public historical, scientific, or statistical research in the public interest that complies with all other applicable privacy laws and ethical constraints, when the information’s deletion may likely seriously impair or render impossible the research’s achievement if you previously provided informed consent

• Troubleshoot or debug products, including identifying and repairing errors and intended functionality impairments

• Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with consumer expectations based on your relationship with us.

• Make other lawful and internal uses of that information that are compatible with the context in which you provided it.

Exercising Deletion Rights

To exercise your deletion rights described above, please submit a verifiable consumer request to “Quizlicious” by sending an email to “Quizlicious” at help.scholarrapp@gmail.com. Only you, or a person registered with the appropriate authority authorized by you to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information.

Right to object/Opt-out

You have the right to opt out of certain uses and disclosures of your Personal Information. When you have consented to "Quizlicious" App’ processing of your Personal Information or other information, you may withdraw that consent at any time and opt-out of further processing, by contacting dpo@coolbootsmedia.com.

Response Timing and Format

“Quizlicious” makes efforts to respond to a verifiable consumer request within 45 days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to 90 days), “Quizlicious” will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. If you have an account with the “Quizlicious” will deliver its written response to that account. If you do not have an account with us, or a response is not capable of being sent thereto, “Quizlicious” will deliver our written response by mail or electronically, at your option. Any disclosures “Quizlicious” provides will only cover the

12-month period preceding the verifiable consumer request’s receipt. If applicable, the response “Quizlicious” provides will also explain the reasons “Quizlicious” cannot comply with a request.
